Raquel Patrick

Senior Instructor

Raquel Patrick joined Tomahawk in 2020 as a corporate trainer for Interactive Threat seminars, De-escalation training, and various other security projects. She is motivated and driven to contribute to Tomahawk’s mission of enhancing public safety by providing quality training to communities and helping them respond effectively to threats.

Ms. Patrick retired from the U.S. Army in 2018 after an impressive 28-year career. She served in Somalia with the Tenth Mountain division, completed three rotations to Iraq with the third and 25th Infantry Divisions, and worked as a Cultural Support Team Leader in the Third Special Forces Group in Afghanistan. She held various roles during her service, including as a Communications and Electronics Systems Warrant Officer, Deputy Chief of the Warrant Officer Division in the Ordnance Electronics Maintenance Training Division, and Training, Advising, and Counseling Officer. Her commitment to service was recognized with numerous commendations, including a Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star, a Joint Service Commendation, two Presidential Unit Citations, and the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe Award. Upon retirement in 2018, Ms. Patrick served as Project Lead and Training Developer for the Warrant Officer Career College.

Born in New York City, Ms. Patrick grew up in Panama City, Panama. When she is not traveling or working, she spends her time volunteering, mentoring youth, fighting for veteran rights, and connecting veterans to healing retreats. She spends her time living in both Manhattan and Central Florida. Ms. Patrick has two children, Ciara and Louis, and she’s a proud grandmother to Veronica.
