Certified First Care Provider (FCP)
During a traumatic event, the time between when an injury occurs and when first responders arrive is critical. This course trains employees to provide trauma care at the point of injury, strengthening your institution’s overall readiness.
In this course, participants will earn their First Care Provider (FCP) certification and learn:
- The RACE model: React, Activate 911, Care for the injured, Evacuate
- Key medical interventions to combat preventable causes of death while maintaining situational awareness and safety during traumatic events
- The confidence and skills necessary to save themselves, fellow employees, or other citizens with life-threatening injuries

Get First Care Provider Certified
Organizations with 10 percent of their staff trained as first care providers and that have the necessary first aid medical supplies on site are eligible for this certification.
