Matthew Jenkins

Vice President of Law Enforcement Programs

Matthew Jenkins, the Vice President of Law Enforcement Programs at Tomahawk, is dedicated to teaching and training first responders, ensuring they have the knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and safely. Mr. Jenkins learned invaluable lessons overseas in combat during his military service, and he’s passionate about education, helping first responders to learn these important skills.

A Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL), Mr. Jenkins retired from the United States Navy in 2019 after a remarkable 20-year career in the Special Operations community. Serving in various elite units, including SEAL Team Four, SEAL Team Two, Naval Special Warfare Group Two Training Detachment, SEAL Team Eight, and culminating with eight years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group, he conducted eight combat deployments in support of global missions. His service was recognized with numerous commendations, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal with combat valor, Navy and Marine Commendation Medals with combat valor, and Presidential Unit Citations. Mr. Jenkins enlisted in 1999 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in April 2000. He is also certified in Simunition Safety and is an accredited instructor with the National Institute of Crime Prevention.

Mr. Jenkins lives in College Grove, Tennessee, with his four children. A grandson of two WWII veterans, he is embracing civilian life and supporting those in service through his work at Tomahawk.
