Kahler MacPhail

Vice President of Corporate Programs

Kahler MacPhail is the Vice President of Corporate Programs at Tomahawk, overseeing the extensive and growing set of offerings available. He manages live-fire range and hands-on firearms training, as well as surveillance and counter-surveillance training programs. Mr. MacPhail joined Tomahawk in 2019 after a distinguished military career, and he’s committed to sharing the lessons he’s learned overseas with people in the public and private sectors so that they can be prepared to do their jobs safely and efficiently.

Mr. MacPhail served 13 years on active duty with the United States Army Special Operations community, including six years in the 75th Ranger Regiment and seven years in the Combat Applications Group. During his Army service, Mr. MacPhail, who reached the rank of Sergeant First Class, conducted 11 combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and several other missions worldwide. His combat commendations include two Bronze Stars, two Joint Commendation Medals, three Army Commendation Medals (one with valor), seven Army Achievement Medals, and numerous other joint and individual awards. After leaving the military, Mr. MacPhail worked as the senior training advisor for a Florida Sheriff’s Department, serving as the primary firearms instructor, developing numerous advanced tactical courses, and helping create a regional SWAT school.

He currently lives with his wife and daughter in Nashville, Tennessee.
