Jamie Eckert is a Sales Development Representative at Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, where he works with the Tomahawk Institute platform, focusing on partnerships with law enforcement and corporate entities. Mr. Eckert spent over 25 years in the military and law enforcement, so he is uniquely positioned to bridge operational realities with Tomahawk's cutting-edge training methodologies.
Mr. Eckert's distinguished career includes six years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Battle Management Specialist aboard the AWACS surveillance platform, reaching the rank of Senior Airman. He deployed on multiple overseas tours during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Strike, while also serving as an instructor and flight examiner. He later joined the New Jersey Air National Guard as a Staff Sergeant while completing his bachelor's degree, and was activated after 9/11 for Operation Enduring Freedom, where he conducted mid-air refueling operations over Afghanistan before his honorable discharge in 2003. Transitioning to law enforcement, Mr. Eckert began as a Detective with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, investigating high-level crimes before joining the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in 2007. There, he played a pivotal role in forming the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team, serving as team leader and lead sniper while participating in over 500 high-risk warrant executions and numerous active shooter responses until his retirement in January 2023. His contributions to tactical training include developing the Patrol Officer Tactical Response Course currently delivered by Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, and instructing police recruits in tactics and firearms as a police academy instructor.
Outside of his professional duties, Mr. Eckert resides in Bergen County, NJ, with his wife and three children. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Rutgers University and a Master of Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with certificates in Global Security & Terrorism and Homeland Security Administration.
