Ian Noble is a Program Manager at Tomahawk. He develops and delivers training programs for law enforcement and corporate clients, including K9 training, VBSS, small unit tactics, and surveillance. He brings more than two decades of active-duty service and training experience to this role.
Mr. Noble retired from active duty in the Special Operations forces in 2015, having achieved the rank of Troop Sergeant Major. He spent ten years in the British Royal Marines Commandos and 13 years in the British Special Boat Service. During his tenure, Mr. Noble conducted numerous combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and several other missions worldwide. Mr. Noble has achieved a wide range of qualifications during his military career, including advanced surveillance operator, Joint Terminal Attack Controller, combat medic, workplace risk assessor, yacht master, rescue diver, ski instructor, and survival instructor. Mr. Noble was responsible for establishing the first United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF) K9 section.
Mr. Noble was born in Ireland and attended a private school in England. He relocated to the U.S. after retiring from service. He graduated from the Commando Training Center Royal Marines in 1992 and completed UKSF selection and continuation training in 2002. He currently resides in Sherborn, Massachusetts.
