Collin Hanlon

Senior Instructor

Collin Hanlon has been a dedicated Senior Instructor for Tomahawk since 2014. As a veteran of the United States Navy, he brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to advancing the knowledge of first responders and civilians in emergency situations.

With over two decades of experience in the fire service, Mr. Hanlon has spent the last 15 years with the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY), working in two of the busiest fire companies in the city. As both an EMT and a firefighter, he has actively participated in scene remediation, large-scale emergencies, patient care during mass casualty incidents, and inter-agency operations. Mr. Hanlon enlisted in the military in 1997, deploying twice to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch. While pursuing a degree in Fire Protection Technology, he studied in both Arizona and New York.

A native of Dunkirk, New York, Mr. Hanlon currently resides in Mahopac, NY, with his wife and children. He is a founder and executive board member of the Police Emerald Society of the Hudson Valley, an organization dedicated to supporting and raising funds for members of law enforcement, firefighting communities, and their families in need.
