It’s been an exciting first half of 2024! We’re proud to continue working with our current, long-standing clients while expanding into new sectors, markets, and arenas. Here are a few highlights we’re excited to share with you:
Tomahawk European Operations Take Off
We expanded into the European market, naming Mads Schreiber Carmés as Managing Director of EU Operations. 
We’ve begun conducting Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessments and we’ve partnered with a highly specialized maritime equipment manufacturer to provide practical instruction and advice on the tactical employment of their equipment to NATO Special Operations Forces allies. We’re actively working with a leadership resiliency company to establish a partnership framework to provide complementary training to their Corporate Boards and C-Suite clients and rolled out an initial tranche of Tomahawk Institute to a major logistical company headquartered in Europe.
Tomahawk Performance has also branched out to Europe, announcing a new partnership with Precision Technic Defence Group, a prominent global provider of advanced defence solutions headquartered in Denmark.
Corporate Threat Vulnerability Assessments Growing
We are excited that we have significantly expanded our corporate client base in the US and Europe, and we look forward to continued growth. In the first half of 2024, we conducted 60 Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessments (TVRA) across multiple countries, assisting clients with security breaches, policy compliance, and strategic security implementations.
2024 Highlights
Our company is proud to serve more than 50 long-standing clients and is continuing to strive to make an even bigger impact. Below are highlights from this year, so far:
- We assisted a legacy client with assessing a potential security breach at a high-profile event and their subsequent decision-making to determine their level of potential risk and follow on actions.
- We conducted a joint Tomahawk-Herring Technology TVRA for CENTRO, a San Antonio non-profit that serves as a downtown coalition of businesses providing supplemental support to the City of San Antonio. We briefed the CENTRO Board and subsequently San Antonio City Council officials as well as the Chief of Police on the findings. Tomahawk and Herring are working with CENTRO on implementing technology solutions as well as the buildout of a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Our team has been working with a major semiconductor manufacturing company on their Workplace Violence policy and procedures to include working with them to achieve compliance with recently implemented California law.
- We partnered with the Anzilotti Group to perform an end-to-end Security Program Assessment of one of the top ten global insurance/reinsurance firms to deliver advice for an appropriate security service delivery model. We are also working with them on their SOC, drafting their Physical Security Standards, and advising them on security considerations for selection of new locations, evaluating specific security-related items for inclusion in lease negotiations.
- As part of our emerging capability development in the Workplace Violence space, our team will attend the 2024 Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) Threat Management Conference in August. This is one of two major annual events focused on the art and science of determining human endangerment risk that is a central operational component of a Workplace Violence Program.
- Our corporate team has continued to mature and define the partnership with the ONTIC security software firm to better understand and leverage the capability for Tomahawk use in business development, ONTIC-Tomahawk collaboration, and beta testing their Assessment and Report capability within the tool.
New Brand Partnership with Graham Media Partners
In early 2024, we launched our new website with the help of Graham Media Partners, a full-service marketing agency. They’re helping us reposition and promote our services and company to reflect and communicate our values. We’re working with them to update and polish our marketing slicks, social media strategy, and other initiatives. We’re grateful to have aligned, engaged partners like Graham to help us focus on our mission.
Welcome to the team, Nikole!
We are thrilled to welcome Nikole Conte as our new Administrative Manager. Specializing in policies and procedures, budgeting, problem-solving, and human resources, Nikole brings a wealth of expertise and a keen eye for detail. She holds an associate’s degree in science from American Military University, and previously worked in operations for major corporations and local businesses.
Beyond her professional life, Nikole is a certified RYT 500 yoga instructor, finding great joy in leading yoga sessions, particularly for current and former military personnel. As an Air Force wife, she understands the challenges faced by both service members and their families. In her free time, you can find Nikole in a yoga studio or at the dog park with her wife, Cristina, and their beloved cocker spaniel, Lady. Please join us in welcoming Nikole to the Tomahawk family!
