Britney Bear brings over 15 years of risk mitigation experience to her role as Director of Risk Consulting at Tomahawk, where she specializes in protecting individuals, assets, and infrastructure. Her career blends military service and corporate consulting, offering clients strategic insights grounded in operational expertise.
Prior to joining Tomahawk, Britney spent eight years in the U.S. Navy, where she led efforts to counter threats posed by advanced Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (UTS) systems. Her work contributed to pioneering new defense tactics still in use today.
As a consultant, Britney has advised senior leaders, including the Chief of Naval Operations, on infrastructure vulnerabilities, partnered with the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children to enhance safety in conflict zones, and supported private-sector clients with overseas risk assessments.
Britney holds a master’s degree in Comparative Government from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Georgia.
